Detailed Description

Oxford Alloy ER80S-Ni1 is used for welding low alloy high strength steels requiring good toughness at temperatures as low as -40 deg F (-40 deg C). The weld deposits of this filler metal are similar to Oxford Alloy E8018-C3 electrodes

  • 98% argon + 2% oxygen/75% argon + 25% Co2 shielding gas for MIG (GMAW) spray transfer
  • 100% Co2/75% argon + 25% Co2 shielding gas for MIG (GMAW) short circuiting transfer
  • 15 - 20 volt TIG (GTAW)
