Gas and Supply Training Center is committed to providing the highest standard of welding training and certification to prepare students for the job market and enhance the skill set of welders already in the labor force. Our instructors have experience in fabrication, pipe welding, structural welding, maintenance, heavy equipment repair, and more. We are regulated and authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC). Our courses are structured and delivered in adherence to American Welding Society (AWS) guidelines and standards.
Beginner Course
14 Weeks, $8,000*
This course offers an introduction to welding for individuals with no prior experience. It encompasses all major welding processes, including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW. Through a combination of classroom instruction and lab time, students will learn essential welding techniques and safety protocols. This course is designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs in the welding industry.
Intermediate Course
6 Weeks, $6,000*
The intermediate SMAW Course is designed for individuals with a basic understanding of welding who wish to further develop their skills and techniques. Over a 6-week period, students will engage in hands-on lab work and targeted instruction, focusing on advanced SMAW techniques, pipe welding, fitting, and preparation. This course is designed to prepare students for more skilled jobs such as pipe welders, pipe fitters, and other advanced welding positions.
Intermediate Course
6 Weeks, $6,000*
The intermediate GTAW Course is designed for individuals with a basic understanding of welding who wish to further develop their skills and techniques, focusing on Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). Over a 6-week period, students will engage in hands-on lab work and targeted instruction, exploring thin carbon, stainless, and aluminum GTAW techniques. This course is designed to prepare students for more skilled jobs such as pipe welders, or aerospace/exotic metal welders.
