Stoody® 31 CTD is a tubular electrode containing the alloying elements and has an extruded coating. Welding characteristics are excellent. Deposits have a low coefficient of friction and provide good resistance to corrosion and heat. Can be applied to carbon alloy and manganese steels. It offers an outstanding balance of abrasion resistance and impact strength
