Harris Harris 0 0620F1 Silver Solder, 20 Inch L X 1/8 Inch W X 0.050 Inch T, 1 Lb, 28 Stick Tube 0620F1 HAR0620F1

Detailed Description

Harris 0 is an economical alloy designed for brazing copper to copper connections. This alloy flows quickly at brazing temperature so requires close joint tolerance, less than 0.005 Inch is a frequent choice for copper brazing. Harris 0 is also a suitable choice for brazing brass. In this application operators should take care to avoid over heating the brass and use Harris Stay Silv® white brazing flux. Harris 0 is not recommended for brazing steel or other ferrous base metals. The phosphorus content will form a low ductility intermetallic with the base metal

Features
  • This low cost alloy is suitable for most copper-to-copper or brass joints where close tolerance can be maintained
  • Specific gravity: 8.94, electrical conductivity: 9.9 (%IACS), electrical resistivity: 19.2, fluidity rating: 5, recommended joint clearance: 0.002/0.007 Inch, boiling point: 4703 deg F
