The electrode UTP 6820 MOLC is used primarily for joint welding and coating steel low carbon stainless, 19/12/3 CrNiMo type. Can also be used for welding heat resistant steels chemical attack stabilized stabilized as well as steels there of chemical composition. The deposit can be used at operating temperatures up to 400 deg C
- UTP 6820 MOLC welding in all positions except for the downward vertical
- It has a stable arc and free soldering
- Easier separation of the slag
- Bead surface has a smooth, fine, no undercuts
- The outstanding characteristic of stainless steels is their ability to readily form a chromium-oxide layer which acts as a constant buffer against further corrosion of the underlying metal
