Extensively used in the oil and gas industry for the welding of high strength low alloy steels where good toughness properties and controlled hardness levels are required. Very low hydrogen content (=< 5 ml/100 g according to ISO 3690). Excellent mechanical properties – good toughness to -60°C (-76°F) with high strength and low hardness to meet the stringent requirements of the oil and gas industry for sour service (NACE MR0175 and API) in the post weld heat treated condition.
